Obstructive sleep apnoea is a condition where people slow or stop breathing for a short period of time during their sleep.
This can give rise to poor sleep quality, excessive day time sleepiness, loud snoring, chocking episodes, poor concentration, memory impairment, and depression. Undiagnosed or untreated sleep apnoea can give rise to long term cardiovascular (heart) consequence due to chronic intermittent low oxygen level in the blood.
